Go Green Week is an annual event organized by Clarke Junior School in partnership with Little Hands Go Green. The objective of this event is to get everyone thinking about conservation and taking positive actions.
On Friday 7th July, we were honored to join the school to crown the event. Some of the activities included a special talk with the pupils by our CEO & founder, Joseph Masembe, entertainment sessions, sharing environmental messages using placards. Other activities conducted throughout the week comprised of gardening focused on environmental preservation, and dressing in an environmentally conservative way among others.
Along with the fun, children took home fruit trees to plant in their compounds. These were provided by our CEO and Founder, Joseph Masembe to mark the celebration.
Here are some of the moments for the Go Green week.
