The Green Christmas Festival, a daylong festivity that took place on Sunday, 17th December, left a lasting impact on everyone who joined the celebration at Zoe Grounds in Lugogo. The event, which commenced at 10 AM and continued until 6 PM, was a true embodiment of the holiday spirit. Families gathered for a day of green-themed fun and activities, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come.
The festival featured a star-studded lineup of celebrities, including our esteemed senior Green Ambassadors, and performances from renowned artistes like Kabako, Weasel, Daxx Kartel & Karole Kasita, who added a special touch to the day. Santa Claus also made a memorable appearance, spreading cheer and presents throughout the event.
The commitment to environmental sustainability was evident in the sea of green attire worn by attendees, aligning perfectly with the ethos of Little Hands Go Green. Each child who participated in the event received a meaningful gift: a free fruit tree seedling, fostering the spirit of sustainability among the young attendees, and a symbol of our dedication to nurturing a green future.
Notably, the event aimed for inclusivity by providing free entrance for children with disabilities, fostering an environment where everyone could participate and celebrate together.
Little Hands Go Green extends its sincere gratitude to all who joined, making this festive celebration a resounding success. Until the next green gathering, let’s carry the spirit of the festival into our lives, nurturing the seeds of sustainability planted on this joyous day.
