TODAY IN HISTORY: 11 years ago, Little Hands Go Green was launched in Yumbe, West-Nile

Joseph Masembe led a team of Green Climate Justice ambassadors to Yumbe District in West Nile and launched Little Hands Go Green.

Since 2011 the civil society organization has for the past few years dedicated time and resources to pioneering a model that seeks to assign proprietary interest of a green future to our children.

Children have been at the forefront of reviving mother earth through the different activities by Little Hands Go green i.e. Creating green orchards in school at their homes, participating the climate change strikes, green festivals, the children’s climate change conferences and dialogues, green caravans etc. And news reaching our desk is that the annual green festival dates are yet to be confirmed

It’s upon this continuous effort that we celebrate all the green ambassadors and the green family for the great milestone so far and we remind ourselves that we must protect the next generation but it all starts with you and me.
